Newtricious

Newtricious was founded in 2006 with the aim to develop active food ingredients, which contribute to a better health and well-being. Newtricious is a Dutch life sciences company, and works together in partnernships with leading scientists, innovative companies, organisations and public authorities.

Our goal is to develop, jointly with other parties, a new generation of active food ingredients and products that can contribute to a better quality of life. With a promising pipeline and solid IP in various health areas, such as obesity, metabolic syndrome, eye health, cardiovascular health, and diabetes, Newtricious is obtaining a strong position in several important disease and lifestyle areas.  

We work towards securing regulatory health claims in almost all of our developments. Our R&D efforts, which include in-vitro research, clinical development, and product development, are conducted according to contemporary science and worldwide regulatory requirements. 

In appreciation of its innovative achievements, Newtricious was awarded the prestigious Food Valley Award in October 2008!

Newtricious was also nominated for the ‘SME Innovation Top 100’ and the ‘Fresh Top 100’ in 2008, finishing high in the rankings for both.
