Connecting science and well-being

At the prestigious Ag Innovation Showcase on May 23rd and May 24th in St. Louis, Missouri, Newtricious presented how developing unique scientific knowledge, in the field of active food ingredients, can play a role in improving the quality of life.

Newtricious was selected by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation to stand as candidate for an introduction during the 2011 Ag Innovation Showcase. After this Newtricious has been invited by the famous American Larta Institute to present at the Ag Innovation Showcase. A total of only 16 innovative companies from around the world get an opportunity to introduce themselves.

The Ag Innovation Showcase, held at the renowned Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, is an incubator for innovative companies where the major U.S. players are present.

In hindsight director Jos Nelissen looks back very positive: "I was very pleased with our performance, after the presentation there was also plenty of interest from innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders. We managed to set up valuable contacts. The U.S. is a very important market for our products and we are very honored to receive such good responses from the attendees."
