Connecting science and well-being

Newtricious has been selected to present its innovative programmes and technolgies at the 2011 Ag Innovation Showcase in St. Louis, Missouri (US), held on 23 and 24 May.

The 2011 Ag Innovation Showcase is a distinguished world-class gathering of key players in the agriculture sector including industry figures, emerging innovators, investors, and Ag leaders. The Showcase also offers a platform for dialogue, discussion, and deal making in sectors including ag-bio, food production, biofuels, sustainable materials, bio-based products, farming technologies, and animal health.

Newtricious and Nsure selected

Newtricious was selected in a competition for a presentation slot at this 2 day symposium, out of 20 other Dutch companies. In total, 16 innovative companies from all over the world will get the opportunity to present themselves. Next to Newtricious, one other Dutch company has been selected, NSure.

General mananger Jos Nelissen is very honoured with the nomination: "we are offered the opportunity to present our company to key players in the American agro-food world, such as representatives from the agro-food industry, innovators and investors. We have already visited the largest food technology fair in the US for a couple of years, but now we are offered a chance to present ourselves to a unique network in a very important market for us".

The Ag Innovation Showcase is a joint effort of BRDG Park at Danforth Plant Science Center, Larta Institute, St. Louis County Economic Council (SLCEC), Missouri Biotechnology Association (MOBIO), St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA), and Missouri Technology Corporation.
