Connecting science and well-being

On Wednesday the 29th of September, the official start of a new financing period for Food & Nutrition Delta, Top Institute Food and Nutrition and the umbrella organisation, Innovatieprogramma Food and Nutrition was held in Fort Voordorp, Groenekan, Netherlands. During this event, successful projects of the last four years were looked back upon. Through innovation, the nutrition industry will continue to build its front-runner position for the next four years.

The Grand Opening programme revolved around finding and taking advantage of opportunities. In workshops, business owners and researchers shared their knowledge and experience. What are the opportunities available in the field of healthy nutrition and sustainability? How can you take advantage of these opportunities and who can help you do this?



Project Manager Lieke van Adrichem and Dietitian/Nutritionist Marieëtte Nelissen hosted a booth at the information market, where the activities of Newtricious within the FND programme during the last couple of years were presented.

During the afternoon session, prominent national and international speakers shared their vision on successful innovation. One of these speakers was Jos Nelissen, General Manager of Newtricious BV., who spoke about ‘Winning by Sharing’.



In her closing remarks at the event, minister Maria van der Hoeven (Economic Affairs) praised the work of Newtricious.
